You are responsible for the security of your credentials. Do not share your account. One person per account; bulk or automated accounts are not permitted.
Treat every user with adab. Do not post content that is abusive, sectarian in a hostile way, defamatory, or harmful. Disagreements on matters of ikhtilāf are welcome when expressed with evidence and good manners.
You retain ownership of reviews, comments, and other content you post. By submitting it you grant Al-Maktaba a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute it within the service. You must have the right to post anything you submit.
Al-Maktaba's brand, typography, and original copy are owned by the project. Book covers and metadata remain the property of their respective publishers and are shown under fair use for cataloging purposes.
Some outbound links to booksellers may be affiliate links. When you purchase through them we may earn a small commission that helps keep the project running. Our curation is never influenced by affiliate status.
Reading lists, reviews, and scholar attributions are provided for educational purposes. Al-Maktaba does not issue fatāwā and is not a substitute for direct guidance from qualified scholars. The service is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put the community at risk.
We may revise these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are interpreted under generally applicable international consumer-protection principles. Disputes will first be addressed in good faith between the parties before any formal action.
